Detailed information on the water values.
- Water test 7 in 1: Chlorine, pH value (PH), carbon hardness (KH), total hardness (GH), nitrite (NO2), nitrate (NO3), main plant nutrient (CO2 content from table) can be measured quickly and easily.
Water test strips pack 7 in 1 for rapid testing of pond water
- Disinfectant in tap water: chlorine test
- Acidity of the water: pH test from 6.4 to 9.0
- Stability of the water: KH test from 0 to 20 °dKH
- Total hardness of the water: GH test from 0 to 20 °dKH
- Toxic nitrogen compound: NO2 from 0 to 10 mg/l
- Cause of algae: NO3 from 0 to 250 mg/l
- Main plant nutrient (CO2 content from table)
Healthy water in the garden pond
The correct water values for the pond water have many influencing factors and depend on the source water, the plants, the impurities in the pond, the number of fish and much more. Clear water can be polluted and promote algae growth. If the values are poor, algae can form or the pond can tip over due to a lack of oxygen. Regular monitoring and adjustment of the water values is important for a healthy garden pond. This simple water test serves as a guide.
How to use
Immerse the test strip in the pond water and move it in the pond for 2-3 seconds. Remove the test strip from the water and hold it horizontally to allow the water to drip off. After 60 seconds, compare the values on the test strip with the colour scale on the packaging.
Note
- Store test strips in a cool, dry place.
- Only remove the number of strips immediately required.
- In the JBL online laboratory you can analyse your measured water values free of charge and have recommendations displayed.
